May 9th - Forged Men's Camp-out
The Forged Men's Ministry invite all men to a camp-out on May 9th at Camp Hosanna. They will be tent camping, so bring your tent! If you don't want to stay overnight, just come and hang out by the fire.
May 11th - Mother's Day & Compassion Sunday
Macedonia celebrates all women on Mother's Day. We thank you for your faithfulness and the blessing you add to our church family! On Mother's Day we also celebrate Compassion Sunday - speaking up on behalf of children living in poverty.
May 17th - Clean Up at Camp Hosanna
On May 17th at 8 a.m., Macedonia will join other churches in the Hiawassee Association to help clean up Camp Hosanna as they prepare for their summer ministry. Bring your cleaning supplies!
May 18th - High School Senior Recognition
On Sunday, May 18th, we will recognize our High School Seniors during the morning worship. Pastor Donnie will present each senior a special Bible.
Then, at 6 PM, Macedonia will host the Towns County Baccalaureate Service in the sanctuary.
May 20th - Spring GlOW Luncheon for Widows
The spring GLOW luncheon for widows is Tuesday, May 20th at 11 a.m.
June 1st - Homecoming
Homecoming @ Macedonia is June 1st. At 8:30 a.m. we will have our regular worship service. There will be no Sunday School. Then at 10:00 a.m. we will have a Homecoming service (with our church history, traditional songs, etc.) followed by a covered dish meal following the 10:00 Homecoming Service. We will not have KidZone, but a nursery will be provided at the 10 a.m. service.
June 8th - 13th - VBS
VBS at Macedonia begins June 8th and concludes with family night on June 13th. The time is 5:30 p.m. (supper) until pick up at 8:30 p.m. VBS is for kids 4 years through 12th grade. Join us as we "Build and Ark". Register on our website.
June 19th - Braves Game
Forged Men's Ministry is going to the Braves Baseball game on June 19th.
June 20th @ 6 PM - Headin' Home Bluegrass Band
Macedonia will host Headin' Home Bluegrass Band on Friday, June 20th at 6 PM.
